Fully Experienced Instructor

A fully experienced Two Star Instructor who is capable of taking responsibility for the management of instructor training courses, educating all levels of divers and instructors, and conducting specialty courses.

Prerequisites

Course Content

This level is not considered to be achieved through a fixed-content course, but rather as the result of acquired experience over an extended period, incorporating a wide range of conditions and requirements.
The instructor must have excellent knowledge of all subjects covered in diver and instructor courses up to this level and must be capable of teaching, in detail, all theoretical and practical aspects of these programmes.
In addition, the instructor must be competent in the application of competency-based training and have experience in relevant subjects that are not part of a standardised course.

Assessment

Under the continuous assessment system, the above knowledge and skills will be evaluated throughout the course. The certification will be awarded only if the instructor is considered to have reached the required level.

If a testing system is used, the final assessment must verify the instructor’s ability to perform the following under any water training conditions.

Demonstration of Skills

Control and lead a group of students during a dive planned to take place in open water.
Teach a group of students selected diving techniques in both confined water and ope
Demonstrate familiarity with the full range of diver and instructor training programmes and the ability to teach groups of students in the classroom, on the surface, and in open water.
Communicate effectively and continuously w
Design an educational programme and adapt it to any specified requirement, location, or situation.

The assessment is conducted at Azzurro Diving and is carried out by a CMAS Greece Two Star Instructor.
